Adult female "Fanny" and juvenile male "Tai-Chi" (2 years 8 months old), Mulhouse Zoo, France, 30 April 2005.
Adult females of the two subspecies leucogenys and siki cannot be reliably identified by their fur colouration, at present. Some, but not all, females exhibit particularly extensive white fur in the facial area.
Adult female "Charlotte", Clères Zoo, France, 24 May 1988.
This female shows an unusually weak cap, although she had a very large black cap only few years before this photograph was taken.
